April Movie Night

On Friday, April 27th at 7:00 PM, we will be showing the movie "Loving Vincent". The trailer can be seen here
 From Wikipedia: Loving Vincent is a 2017 experimental animated biographical drama film about the life of painter Vincent van Gogh, and in particular, the circumstances of his death. It is the first fully painted animated feature film.^[7] The film, written and directed by Dorota Kobiela and Hugh Welchman, is a Polish production, funded by the Polish Film Institute, and partially through a Kickstarter campaign.^[8]

Adventures in Genealogy

Have recent family events inspired you to research your family roots? Do you want to know if your neighbor is related to you? Do you have some family documents but want to know how to organize them and make a family tree?

Elizabeth Williams will show you where to start, what tools to use; and in particular, how to use Ancestrylibrary.com. She will also give you hints on how to verify connections and how to use offline tools.

There will be a little history of the ancestors who first populated our East Coast and some fun stories that you may discover in your own search as Elizabeth did in hers.

Black History Month

Come check out our great display for Black History Month! Most of these books can be checked out, a few are on personal loan. 
Hancock, Nelson, Marlborough and Harrisville libraries are each focusing on a different theme. Harrisville's is crafts and cooking!
