Summer Reading programs for kids

SUMMER AT THE HARRISVILLE LIBRARY FOR KIDS
Wednesday July 10th at 11am: Susan Behl will be reading “JUMP FROG JUMP” by Robert Kalan and showing how to make a frog puppet. Image result for frog and sheep clip art

Wednesday July 17th at 11am: Susan Behl reading “If I had a Sheep” by Mick Inkpen and helping to make a sheep to take home.

Saturday, July 20th at 11am:  Kim Wallach will do a concert with parts to join in. Kim Wallach image
Wednesday July 24th at 11am: TBA
Wednesday July 31st at 11am: Haiku and summer songs.   Come sing and write Haiku with Sarah Kendall.
Wednesday August 7th at 11am: TBA, look for another music event.
Wednesday August 14th at 11am: TBA, but expect “Oh, Were They Ever Happy´ by Peter Spier.

All programs are free and open to the public.  Appropriate for all ages.  The very young should bring a helper.  More info at 827-2918.

Owl L’Amour

Hoot it up with naturalist Susie Spikol in this light hearted talk on owl romance, courtship and ardor. Find out how barred owls woo and what all that wild hooting is about in the woods. Harrisville Public Library. 11am to 12pm. FREE and open to all!

Museum Passes available

For 2019, the library has purchased 3 museum passes. They are for the  Currier Museum of Art in Manchester, NH, VINS (Vermont Institute of Natural Science) In Quechee, VT, and Ecotarium in Worcester, MA.
Please contact the library if you'd like to reserve the pass for a particular date.
