Black History Month

Come check out our great display for Black History Month! Most of these books can be checked out, a few are on personal loan. 
Hancock, Nelson, Marlborough and Harrisville libraries are each focusing on a different theme. Harrisville's is crafts and cooking!

Apple Pies and Stories in the Sky: Songs and Tales of the Coming of Winter

Join folk heritage musician, singer and story teller Mary DesRosiers and naturalist Susie Spikol Faber for a cozy faux fireside morning of song and story about the coming of winter. Hear tales of how winter came to be and the magic of the winter world and raise your voice in song to welcome the darkest season with light from within!  Don’t be cold this winter. Instead warm your hearts and spirits with song and story.  11 am to noon at the Harrisville Library. Co-sponsored with the Harrisville Library.  For more information call the library at 827-2918.
