singer and story teller Mary DesRosiers and naturalist Susie
Spikol Faber for a cozy faux fireside morning of song and
story about the coming of winter. Hear tales of how winter
came to be and the magic of the winter world and raise your
voice in song to welcome the darkest season with light from

will build a birdhouse to take home. Please sign up to
participate. We have 15
birdhouses, limited to one for each family. After the first 15
families sign up
you may still sign up and participate for a materials fee of
$5. There is a
materials fee for extra family
members too. We will
accept donations of
license plates to recycle.

Permaculture program
Marty Castriotta of Village Roots Farm in Alstead is an avid practitioner and teacher of Permaculture principles and techniques. Come and learn how you can apply this approach to your own land and gardens. He will focus on food production primarily, but will also touch upon broader applications such as homestead design, institutional and municipal planning, carbon sequestration and social permaculture.
